Chase's first black eye (and hopefully the last)

Last night after Chase had only been in bed for about 5 minutes we were startled to hear him screaming. We ran in his room to see him bleeding right by his eye and crying really hard. We asked him what happened and he said that he was sleeping under his bed and he didn't realize it. He only woke up when he hit his head on the underside of his bed.

We couldn't believe that he was even asleep at that point, let alone have enough time to sleep walk under his bed. Weird! Sometimes he does sleep walk, but other times I think he is just busy in his room for awhile before he finally settles down.

For some reason this sleeping in weird positions has happened quite frequently. Sometimes he is just hanging half on his bed and half off. In fact, Spencer and I are always interested to see what Chase has done after we put him in bed. He always starts the night with pajamas on and in his bed. By the time we go check on him, he has taken his pajamas off and he has set up a make-shift bed on the floor and is sleeping on it. Or, he is laying in some crazy position that looks really uncomfortable. We can't figure out why he does this almost every night. Maybe someday I will set up a video camera in his room and watch him to see his nightly routine. I need to start taking pictures of him so that I can show him how funny he can look in his sleep.
